Ebano
A guest bathroom · dark glamour
A guest bathroom for a residence in the spirit of restrained dark glamour. “Ebano” means ebony — deep black stone, warm walnut and precise matching: luxury read through material rather than shine.
Walls of book-matched black Nero Portoro marble with gold veining, a walnut panel with precise veneer matching in hand-applied lacquer, a round backlit mirror in a thin brass frame, a scatter of crystal drop pendants. A floating walnut vanity with a stone basin, premium brass fixtures, warm concealed lighting, a stone floor with soft reflections. Quiet luxury, where everything rests on the honesty of stone, wood and light.
The guest bathroom of the residence
Quiet luxury, where everything rests on the honesty of material: book-matched black Nero Portoro marble, a walnut panel with precise veneer matching, a round backlit mirror in brass and a scatter of crystal drops above the stone basin.

The guest bathroom
A warm walnut panel with precise veneer matching at the centre, flanked by book-matched black Nero Portoro marble with gold veining. A round backlit mirror in a brass frame, a scatter of crystal drop pendants and a floating vanity with a stone basin, while warm concealed lighting sculpts volume out of the darkness.
The vanity and basin

Marble, walnut, crystal
The luxury reads in the details: the gold veining of Nero Portoro, a scatter of crystal drops, the precise matching of walnut veneer and brass in a warm tone.

Hall, bar, wine room, cinema
The guest bathroom is part of the formal half of the house: the hall, the bar-lounge, the wine-and-cigar room and the media cinema sound in the same dark walnut-and-marble palette.

The bar-lounge
Dark stone, walnut and brass with backlit shelves and bottles — an atmospheric zone of evening reception in the same material as the bathroom.
Wine · cigar room
A backlit wine cabinet, deep leather and dark wood — an intimate club register in the same dark range.

Master bathroom, dressing room, washroom
A single palette runs through the whole house: the master bathroom, the dressing room and the washroom are resolved in the same dark walnut-and-marble range, and a gallery corridor connects the zones.

When stone comes alive with light
In the evening the guest bathroom opens differently: warm concealed lighting reveals the gold veining of the stone and the walnut matching, the crystal catches sparks — the dark glamour becomes intimate and enveloping.

Quiet luxury, where everything rests on the honesty of stone, wood and light.

From design to a finished interior: an authorial project, working drawings with the engineering of wet zones, design supervision and procurement of stone, wood, fixtures and light — including Italian factories. It all begins with a mood and a material palette — as in this project.
