Wood is the one floor you feel with bare feet: warm in the morning, quiet under a step, catching the light along a herringbone at dusk. Oak ages into character instead of wearing out — and a solid floor can be sanded back to new a dozen times over a lifetime.
There are two constructions, and choosing wrong is expensive. Solid parquet — one species through the full thickness, 40–80 years, re-sandable many times, but demanding of a stable climate. Engineered board — a precious veneer on a cross-bonded core, calm about seasonal humidity, wide formats, faster to lay. We pick the one your room actually needs.

The pattern sets the character of the room before the furniture arrives: a fine herringbone for a classic hall, a French chevron for elegance, a wide brushed plank for a calm modern space. We draw the layout to the room and its light.

The character of the wood
Species, brushing and finish decide how the floor reads and ages: pale limed oak, deep smoked oak, hand-scraped texture, a matte oil that lets you feel the grain. The tone is tuned on site to the walls and the light.
