A great garden is scripted like a film. The main axis catches the house and leads the eye to the horizon; clipped hedges hold the geometry; by evening the lighting comes up and hydrangeas float in the dusk. In a forest garden the script is different — a gravel path slips between mature pines, a scarlet maple flares at sunset, a stream murmurs under boulders.
Both need the same craft: vertical planning, drainage, irrigation, soil, light. The team runs the whole cycle — from the master plan and working drawings to planting ten-metre trees by crane and hand-setting every flagstone step.

Parterres and axes by a classical house
French geometry by a classical residence: a central axis, clipped parterres, a border of salvia along the balustrade. By night the garden switches to its evening script — path lights, glowing crowns, hydrangeas in the dusk.
Forest garden
A garden under mature pines
When the plot is a pine forest, the garden must not argue with it. Gravel paths flow around the trunks, hostas and hydrangeas hold the shade, a stream runs under boulders — and one scarlet maple does more than a hundred flowerbeds.

A garden does not have to wait twenty years. Ten-metre pines and lindens arrive by crane, the lawn is rolled out in a day, every flagstone is set by hand. A season later the plot looks as if the garden had always been here.
