Request a selectionAbout the factory
FMF is the joinery atelier of Franco Martinello in Ca' Rainati, near Treviso, which has worked for private houses around the world for about 45 years: Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the USA. It does not produce serial pieces; every commission is designed for a particular house.
The atelier makes everything in a house that belongs to built-in and made-to-order furniture: kitchens, dressing rooms and wardrobes, bedrooms, living rooms, studies and libraries, bathrooms, staircases, doors, wine rooms, cinema rooms, billiard rooms and individual pieces. The style ranges from classicism with carving and gilding to contemporary geometry.
Each project on this page is a completed house: photographs of finished interiors with the atelier's furniture. We show them as examples of what can be commissioned for your own project.
For the studio, FMF is a partner for the built-in part of the interior, which is not usually bought from a catalogue: the library of a study, a dressing room, a staircase, a fireplace surround, a kitchen in a classical house.

Why through the studio
Selected by the studio
Out of hundreds of Italian factories we work with a few whose quality we have seen in our own houses. You do not compare — you choose.
Studio terms
Direct factory conditions instead of showroom retail. The saving on furnishing often covers the interior project.
One responsibility
Specification, order, factory control, delivery, customs and assembly on site — the studio, not you.
FMF in the studio's projects
FMF is an Italian bespoke joinery atelier from the province of Treviso with about 45 years of experience. Kitchens, dressing rooms, bedrooms, living rooms, studies and libraries, bathrooms, staircases, doors, wine rooms and cinema rooms are all designed and made for a specific house, in classical and contemporary styles.
In the studio's projects, FMF provides the built-in part of the interior that cannot be bought from a catalogue: a library, a dressing room, a staircase, fireplace surrounds, a kitchen in a classical house. The atelier's work in Moscow and Kazan shows that it can handle large houses and their scale.
Ordering through the studio means a design made for the room, coordination of drawings with the atelier, supervision of production in Italy, and delivery and installation under a single responsibility.
