Decor objects Laguna 72
The Laguna 72 dining table in hand-made cast art glass becomes the main decorative accent of a living or dining room.
Laguna 72 is a dining table that is perceived as an art object, thanks to a distinctive technique of working the material. The designer Riccardo Lucatello has staked everything on the expressive form of cast glass, turning a utilitarian piece of furniture into the central element of an interior.
Both the base and the top are made of hand-made Laguna cast glass. The surface of the material retains characteristic irregularities and a complex texture that recalls a frozen sheet of water. The model is available in two colour options: clear glass and a warm amber shade.
We recommend placing this table in well-lit areas of a dining or living room. The uneven texture of cast glass is shown to best effect in natural daylight or with a considered evening lighting scheme, which casts picturesque glints on the floor and walls.

Studio noteThis piece is at home in minimalist or neoclassical interiors as the main visual focus. We would place it on a plain short-pile rug to emphasise the texture of the glass.
