Bookcases Segno

A modular bookcase element with a curved shelf and touch-controlled LED lighting, from the design house Pininfarina.

The Segno Libreria modular library element was developed by the renowned design house Pininfarina for the Disegno collection. The concept is built on fluid geometry and the possibility of combining modules to create individual wall compositions with expressive plasticity of line.

Each element consists of a wooden back panel and a curved shelf. The back panel is available in matt or gloss lacquer, Canaletto walnut veneer, dark ash or glossy ebony. The shelf can be made in wood or in the metal finishes Bronze, Ottone, Ottone Dark and Titanium. LED lighting with a touch-system control is integrated into the module.

This modular element makes it possible to create large-scale shelving compositions in living rooms, home studies or libraries. Thanks to the built-in lighting, it zones the space effectively and can serve as a soft source of evening light, emphasising the geometry of the walls and the objects displayed on the shelves.

Studio noteThis piece suits a contemporary study or living room. We would recommend assembling several Segno modules into a large, graphic composition across a whole wall.
