A four-drawer chest with sides in pleated leather or fabric, a Marmoreflex top and brass details.
The four-drawer Plissé Comò chest shows a balance of strict tectonics and decorative sculpture. In the design of the model a wooden frame is combined with soft pleated sides, while brass profiles emphasise the geometry and give the piece a finished look characteristic of Art Deco.
The body is made of gloss ebony or covered in gloss lacquer, and the handles are integrated into the fronts. The side panels are upholstered in leather or fabric with hand-made pleating. The top uses the patented Marmoreflex or Legnoreflex materials, and the profile and plinth are finished in brass (104M).
This chest will become an expressive accent in a bedroom or living room. Because of the intricate texture of the sides it is seen to best advantage at three-quarter angles, so it should not be squeezed into corners but placed in an open, well-lit position.
