The Palazzo Ducale 72 dining table is an ambitious piece that combines traditional glassmaking with modern technology. The supports are assembled from engraved crystal elements set on mirrored glass plinths with a steel edge. Each base contains a battery-powered LED light that creates a soft inner glow.
The rectangular top is made of extra-clear glass, which does not distort colour and lets the intricate engraving of the crystal supports be admired without obstruction. Depending on the length of the table, the structure may include from three to seven crystal bases, which makes tables of impressive size possible.
The model is designed for large formal dining rooms and reception halls. After dark, the built-in lighting of the supports creates a captivating effect, making the dining area the centre of the whole interior and underlining the ceremonial character of the setting.
