Tosconova was founded in 1963 by Giovanni Micelacci as a small workshop and grew into a high-end furniture factory, run today by his children, Lorenzo and Valentina. Its calling card is upholstered furniture in which comfort and wellbeing are considered as carefully as the silhouette.
The frames of sofas and beds are designed here down to the last detail: construction, filling, seat. The factory is also consistently ecological, using only water-based glues, paints and varnishes. For us this is an argument in favour of its furniture for bedrooms and children's rooms.
Stylistically Tosconova sits between classicism and the contemporary: soft forms, wood, calm fabrics. Such furniture does not argue with the architecture of the house and comes together easily into a single interior for living room, dining room and bedroom.
The factory has a contract division for hotels and restaurants; among its landmark projects is the Ferragamo family's boutique hotel in Florence. This means that the factory is familiar with series, timings and a consistent level of quality across a large project.

Tosconova furniture in the studio's projects
Tosconova is an Italian furniture factory from Tuscany, a family business since 1963. Its catalogue includes upholstered furniture for the living room, beds and bedroom sets, dining tables and chairs, lighting, mirrors and textiles. The furniture is made by hand with the aid of digital design, with ecological water-based finishes.
We present Tosconova where comfort is needed without loud forms: the living rooms and bedrooms of country houses, where a sofa must be comfortable every day and a bed calm and dependable. For every piece there is the factory's technical sheet with dimensions and options, which we attach to the specification.
Ordering through the studio means factory terms, selection of fabrics and finishes, supervision of production in Italy, and delivery and assembly on site under a single responsibility.

Are dimensions and fabric options available?
Yes. Every piece has the factory's technical sheet with dimensions, modules and upholstery. We attach it to the selection and agree the fabric from samples.
Can a sofa be ordered in a non-standard size?
Many Tosconova models are modular and made in several sizes; non-standard requests are confirmed with the factory during selection.
How long is the wait for delivery?
Typically 10 to 14 weeks for production, plus delivery from Italy.
