Request a selectionAbout the factory
Tura is a historic workshop in Cabiate, near Como, founded in 1939 and known for furniture in parchment (treated skin) in the spirit of Art Deco and Italian design of the 1950s and 60s. Today its heritage is continued by the Extroverso brand under the art direction of Manuela Dello Strologo.
Extroverso calls its approach "unusual design made in Italy": coffee and dining tables, consoles, armchairs and sofas, chairs, mirrors and screens, lighting and wall panelling (boiserie) in parchment, lacquer and fine woods. All pieces are made to order, to size and finish.
The collections: Città Italiane, a tribute to Italian cities; Deco, a direct line to Art Deco; and New Moon and Italian Close Up, contemporary series with the designers Anna Sutor, Carlo Rampazzi and Giannella Ventura.
For the studio this is the factory for accents: a console or small table in parchment, a screen, the boiserie of a study. These are pieces that turn a correct interior into an authored one.

Specification, order, factory control, delivery, customs and assembly on site — the studio, not you.
Tura by Extroverso in the studio's projects
Tura by Extroverso is an Italian factory from Cabiate (Como), heir to the Tura workshop founded in 1939. It specialises in furniture in parchment and lacquer: coffee and dining tables, consoles, armchairs, chairs, mirrors, screens, lighting and wall panelling. All pieces are made to order, to size and finish.
In the studio's projects this factory is responsible for authored accents in the Art Deco style and in contemporary classicism: consoles and small tables in parchment, screens, the boiserie of a study. It pairs well with the classical architecture of a house and with contemporary interiors.
Ordering through the studio means factory terms, selection of finishes from samples, production made to size, supervision of production, and delivery under a single responsibility.
