The Bacchantes nine-candle candelabrum, a sculptural composition in matt biscuit porcelain with figures of bacchantes.
Bacchantes is a narrative sculpture by Villari: figures of bacchantes from ancient Rome, circling a nine-candle candelabrum, are modelled in biscuit (unglazed) porcelain with a matt surface and hand-painted with 24-carat gold. The composition recalls the Baroque tradition.
Handmade porcelain; made by hand in Italy.
