Princess Mafalda table lamp: a low porcelain body with an old-gold patina, in a wide form.

The Princess Mafalda lamp differs from the other models of the line in its more horizontal proportion: at 48 cm high it is quite wide (73 cm), which makes it more a sculptural object on a long console than a classical bedside lamp.

The body is handmade porcelain, made at the Villari factory in Italy; the old-gold patina is applied by hand to the relief details of the form, emphasising the horizontal plasticity of the silhouette.
