Tuscan kitchens since 1947: a third-generation family firm working in solid chestnut and oak, lacquer and metal, from country chic to contemporary.
Request a selectionAbout the factory
Aurora Cucine was founded in 1947 in Poggibonsi, near Siena, by three friends, and is now run by the third generation of the family. The factory makes kitchens as individual pieces, shaped to the plan, materials and way of life of a particular house.
Three lines: Design Materico, with textured materials, solid chestnut and oak, and brushed wood; Contemporaneo, with restrained contemporary kitchens in lacquer, veneer and metal; and Country Chic, Tuscan classicism with panelled doors and warm tones.
The factory places its emphasis on craft quality and slow, ecological materials. For the studio's country houses these are kitchens that do not read as a fitted set: they are built like furniture for a specific room.
Every model on this page is shown with the factory's photographs; we select the layout, fronts and appliances to suit the project.

Why through the studio
Selected by the studio
Out of hundreds of Italian factories we work with a few whose quality we have seen in our own houses. You do not compare — you choose.
Studio terms
Direct factory conditions instead of showroom retail. The saving on furnishing often covers the interior project.
One responsibility
Specification, order, factory control, delivery, customs and assembly on site — the studio, not you.
Aurora kitchens in the studio's projects
Aurora Cucine is an Italian kitchen maker from Poggibonsi, Tuscany, active since 1947. Its three lines, Design Materico, Contemporaneo and Country Chic, range from textured solid wood to restrained lacquer and Tuscan classicism. Each kitchen is made to the layout and materials of a specific house.
In the studio's projects the kitchen is designed together with the house: layout, services, lighting and furniture drawn as one. Aurora is a factory that allows a kitchen to be a piece of furniture rather than a standard fitted set, in both classical and contemporary houses.
Ordering through the studio means factory terms, a kitchen design made for the room, selection of fronts and appliances, supervision of production, and delivery and installation under a single responsibility.
Q&A
Is the kitchen made to my layout?
Yes. Aurora makes kitchens individually: modules, fronts, worktops and appliances are made to suit the room and the project.
How long is the wait for delivery?
Typically 10 to 14 weeks for production after the design is approved, plus delivery and installation.
