Kitchens Dogu
Dogu is a Contemporaneo kitchen with a solid chestnut façade whose natural grain has been deliberately brought out.
The Dogu façade is made of solid chestnut: brushing opens the fibre and makes the texture of the wood tangible, while the contemporary design gives the whole composition a graphic, restrained character.
The façade is assembled from slats (dogato) 27 mm thick. The relief of the slatted structure reads both close up and from a distance, emphasising the natural quality of the material.
Such a façade looks well in an open-plan kitchen, where the wood becomes part of the home's overall interior scheme rather than belonging only to the kitchen area.

Studio noteWe would consider Dogu for homes where the kitchen opens onto the living area: textured solid chestnut supports the natural, tactile finishes of the adjoining rooms.
