Room sets White Classic Door With Gold Details
An FMF door portal in white with a gilded dentil cornice and an applied carved cartouche on an arched panel.
The detail of the door portal shows an arched panel with a gilded carved cartouche of foliate pattern in its upper part, and around the perimeter of the portal a gilded dentil cornice characteristic of the classical order. The main ground of the finish is white lacquer with a smooth texture.
The carved decoration is executed in relief, with individual petals and curls worked out, which indicates applied carving or moulding rather than a printed ornament.

Studio noteWe find this portal suited to a formal doorway in a classical interior: the gilded cornice and cartouche look well at the entrance to the living room or the principal bedroom.
