Dining tables Big Ben 72
The round Big Ben 72 dining table has an integrated rotating Lazy Susan tray with an exposed clockwork mechanism.
Big Ben 72 is a dining table designed by Riccardo Lucatello, combining the leatherworker's craft with intricate mechanics. The main feature of the model is a rotating Lazy Susan tray set into the centre of the top, through whose clear glass the working of decorative gears, reminiscent of a clock mechanism, can be seen.
The cylindrical base is wrapped in leather with a choice of shaped quilting (Diamond, San Marco, Emerald, Hexagon, Fly or Millerighe) and completed with a metal plinth. The wooden top is decorated with a Marmoreflex or Legnoreflex surface with a metal edge. The rotating element is made of ultra-clear glass with gold or chrome gears on a Mesh glass backing.
The table is ideal for family dinners and formal receptions in a dining room. The round form encourages comfortable conversation, and the functional rotating centre, which can be fitted with an electric drive, makes serving dishes as convenient as possible.

Studio noteWe would place it in a formal dining room in a neoclassical style. The table pairs very well with wall panels in leather or Alcantara and substantial chandeliers that echo the metal finish of the plinth.
