A modular low table with open storage sections, designed as a flexible system of free-standing or joined wooden blocks.
The Space 40 low coffee table by the R&C Reflex designers is a considered modular system with open niches. The concept allows individual elements to be used on their own or joined into large geometric compositions, while keeping the same aesthetic, proportions and materials.
The open modules are made of wood and set on a restrained metal plinth. The metal parts of the plinth may be finished in bronze, brass, dark brass or titanium. The system includes four different block configurations (modules A, B, C and D) for creating individual layouts.
The model combines the functions of a coffee table and an open storage system for books and decorative objects. It is well suited to spacious living rooms or lounge areas, where the modules can be arranged along a sofa or grouped at the centre of the room as a low island.
