An expressive coffee table on a massive wooden plinth, with supports of artistic Murano glass and a transparent top.
The Sassi 40 coffee table, designed by Riccardo Lucatello, is built on a fine balance between a dense, solid base and the complete transparency of the upper part. The soft rounded lines of the wooden plinth and the glass top soften the geometry of the piece, making it a refined adornment for a living room.
The base is a wooden plinth 60 mm thick with rounded corners, in a glossy ebony or glossy lacquer finish. The supports are made of Murano glass in deep shades of chalcedony or amber. The 12 mm top is made of extra-clear glass with a 45-degree facet and rounded corners.
The table is ideal for formal living rooms in a neoclassical or Art Deco style. Thanks to the transparent top, the artistic Murano glass legs remain fully visible, so that their complex texture and shifts of colour can be examined in detail from any angle.
