The Empire Rechargeable Candle is a compact alternative to an ordinary candle: the porcelain body is decorated with relief garlands and 24-carat gold, and an LED in the shape of a flame sits on top. It looks like a classical candle, but needs no matches and leaves no wax.
The body is handmade porcelain, made at the Villari factory in Italy, with the decoration painted by hand in 24-carat gold; the LED source charges through USB and runs cordless for up to four hours.
It is convenient on a dining table, a console or a mantelpiece, wherever the effect of living fire is wanted without an open flame and the restrictions that come with it.
