Taormina table lamp: a porcelain body with a golden patina, named after a Sicilian town.

The Taormina lamp takes its name from the town of the same name in Sicily and keeps a southern, slightly theatrical ornateness in porcelain. The antique gilding is applied by hand and gives the effect of a noble patina rather than the bright shine of new metal.

The body is handmade porcelain, made at the Villari factory in Italy; the gilding is applied and aged by hand, which makes the surface look deeper and softer than on lamps with bright new gold.
