The Rita light belongs to the Divas collection, in which each model is dedicated to one of the Hollywood stars of the 1940s, in this case Rita Hayworth. A brass rod strings together fluted elements of porcelain and Murano glass, creating a vertical composition in a soft pastel-pink shade.
The materials are brass with 24-carat gilding, handmade porcelain and hand-blown Murano glass. The overall suspension height of up to 200 cm is adjustable to suit a particular room and ceiling height.
A light like this is appropriate as a single vertical accent in a drawing room, hall or by a staircase. It reveals itself best in a space with a high ceiling, where the whole row of strung elements can be seen.
