Chests of drawers W051/Nt

A bedside chest in ash burl, made in the best traditions of classical furniture-making in the Brianza region.

The W051/Nt bedside chest by Zanaboni is an example of traditional Italian design. The model is designed to complement a sleeping area and belongs to the same collection as the W051/Dr dressing table and the wardrobe. Calm lines and measured proportions make the piece at home in refined interiors.

The piece is made of ash burl, a material with an expressive natural pattern. Hand working of the wood by the old methods of the Brianza craftsmen brings out the depth of its texture. Every detail of the chest speaks of a continuity of craft tradition handed down from generation to generation.

The chest is intended for the head of the bed. With its plain form and the noble texture of the wood, it becomes a functional and aesthetic accent in a classical bedroom. Its surface is ideal for a table lamp with a fabric shade and for books.

Studio noteWe find it suits a symmetrical composition on either side of a classical bed with a tall headboard. We would place it in a bedroom with warm pastel walls.
