About the project

An interior in the spirit of refined French classicism, Louis XV / XVI. “Dorato” means gilded: fine gilding as an aristocratic accent, not shine for its own sake.

A grand salon in soft light

Elegance instead of excess: warm carved white boiserie, a carved marble fireplace, a crystal-and-gilt chandelier, furniture in gilded frames with grey-smoke velvet, dark oak herringbone parquet and an Aubusson rug. Gilded mirrors and consoles, white hydrangeas, soft daylight from tall arched windows — a warm, timeless, truly salon atmosphere.

The grand salon

An oval salon in white boiserie with fine carving, a symmetry of gilded bergères around the table, a crystal-and-gilt chandelier beneath a moulded dome. Grey-smoke velvet, herringbone parquet and an Aubusson rug hold the warmth, while the gilding sounds as an accent, not a shine.

A gilded canapé

A canapé in a gilded frame with grey-smoke velvet by the marble fireplace, a glass-and-brass table and an armful of white hydrangeas. A vignette in which French classicism reads fresh and without heaviness.

Dining room and kitchen

The formal dining room keeps the same gilded theme — crystal, velvet and white flowers compose a scenario for grand receptions.

Hall, staircase and garden salon

A grand staircase with a gilded wrought-iron balustrade soars beneath a crystal chandelier, and the garden salon opens through tall windows onto the greenery — light leads through the whole house.

Bedroom, dressing room, bathroom, study

The private half sounds quieter: the same gilded classicism, soft light and an intimate scale.
