A console with a base of Murano glass rods with Tortora filigree and a plinth of smoke mirror.
The Bamboo Console stands out for its original architectural base, which imitates bamboo stems. The vertical rods are made of Murano glass with intricate internal filigree in the shade Tortora (a grey-beige). The composition rests on a plinth of smoke mirror, creating the effect of the structure floating above the floor.
The top is made of extra-clear glass (extrachiaro), which may be rectangular or shaped. The edge may be treated with a 45-degree facet or left without. The base is assembled from handmade glass elements fixed to a mirrored plinth.
This console is made for the formal areas of a house. It will be the key visual accent in a spacious hall, entrance or living room, where the play of light on the faces of the handmade Murano glass and the mirrored plinth shows to full effect under any type of lighting.
