Vases Vasi Calcedonio

A decorative Murano glass vase with a complex texture and colour transitions in the chalcedony technique.

The Vasi Calcedonio decorative vase demonstrates the virtuoso skill of Italian glassblowers. The main feature of the piece is the use of the rare old technique known as Calcedonio (chalcedony), which recreates on the glass the layered structure and shimmer of a semi-precious stone.

Each piece has a unique pattern with deep colour transitions and intricate veining. The uneven texture and refined shades give the vase high artistic value, making it a true collectable object of decor.

The vase is designed to adorn the formal areas of the home. It will look to advantage on a mantelpiece, in a lit niche or on a dining table, drawing attention with the play of light on its surface.
