The Caravaggio bed combines classical proportions with intricate textile modelling. The centre of the tall headboard is covered in damask with a traditional pattern, edged around the perimeter with careful hand pleating. This gives the headboard additional volume and softness.
The textile panel is set in a substantial wooden frame decorated with expressive hand carving. The model is produced using old craft techniques handed down from generation to generation, which makes possible a high level of detail in the carved elements and a flawless fit of the upholstery.
