Beds Platone
A classic double bed with a tall headboard worked in the traditional capitonné technique.
The Platone bed is an example of the traditional classical style. The main decoration of the model is the tall headboard with capitonné (button-tufted) upholstery, made by hand by craftsmen of the Brianza region. This decorative device gives the headboard volume and softness.
The making of the bed draws on the long craft traditions of Italian cabinetmakers. Every finishing detail is worked by hand, which ensures the durability of the structure and the flawless appearance of the textile elements.
The model is made for classical bedrooms. To create a harmonious ensemble, the factory suggests completing the bed with the Rodolfo pouf, which has the same capitonné tufting, as well as bedside tables and a dressing table from the related classic series.

Studio noteWe find it suits a traditional bedroom. We would place it in the centre of the room, completed by a symmetrical pair of classical bedside tables and a soft pouf at the foot.
