Dining tables T/1901

The classic T/1901 dining table by Zanaboni draws attention with a sculptural base carved by hand and finished in gilding.

The T/1901 dining table is an example of formal dining room furniture. The main emphasis of the design is on the intricate sculpting of the base. The lower part of the table is decorated with hand carving, made by Italian cabinetmakers using traditional techniques.

The decorative carved elements are picked out in gold leaf, applied by hand. This gives the details of the base additional volume and a play of light. The sturdy construction and carefully judged proportions ensure the stability of the table and comfortable seating for guests.

The table is intended for a formal dining room or a spacious combined living room. It needs enough free space around it, so that the intricate carved base stays visible from different angles. The model combines well with classic chairs with soft upholstery.

Studio noteIt suits a formal dining room. We would place it under a large crystal chandelier, which will bring out the sheen of the gilded base.
