Mirrors Sp/04

A classical wall mirror with a carved frame in an antique gold finish.

The Sp/04 wall mirror by Zanaboni is an expressive decorative piece made in the best traditions of the classical style. The main feature of the model is the intricately carved frame, which underlines the historic character of the piece and makes it the central accent of a wall.

The frame is decorated by hand using traditional gilding techniques. The antique gold coating gives the piece a noble look with a light touch of patina. The making of the frame draws on the long experience of the Brianza craftsmen, who pass the secrets of their skill from one generation to the next.

The mirror is versatile: it looks equally good above a console in an entrance hall, above a chest in a bedroom or above a fireplace in a living room. Its classical proportions help to widen the space visually and add a sense of occasion to the interior.

Studio noteWe find it suits a position above a fireplace or a console in a hall. We recommend pairing it with symmetrically placed wall sconces in a matching gold finish.
