The Tau 40 Murano collection of coffee tables is made entirely of hand-blown glass. The design is built on the purity of geometric volumes and a contrasting dialogue between the shades of the top and the base. The metal joint serves not only as a functional element but as a graphic accent.
The glass is made using traditional craft techniques. The factory offers two finish options for the metal joint: gunmetal steel or gold. According to this, harmonious colour pairs are chosen, bringing together amber, tobacco, amethyst, emerald and blue shades.
The model is made in low coffee-table and lounge-table versions. It will become a bright visual centre in the seating group of a living room, showing to particular effect under directed spot lighting, which underlines the transparency and depth of the glass.
