A restrained coffee table on a cylindrical metal base with a wooden top, designed for modular compositions in a living room.

The Tau 40 Steel collection of tables, designed by Riccardo Lucatello, is distinguished by a clean geometric language and versatility. The design rests on the combination of a strict cylindrical base and a flat top. The model is conceived as an element of a modular system, allowing varied compositions in living and lounge areas.

The metal base is available in finishes resembling bronze, brass, dark brass or titanium. The wooden top is painted to match the base, and may be fitted with an overlay panel in Marmoreflex or Legnoreflex. A version is also available in which the base and top are made entirely of wood in a satin-gloss dark brass finish. The top may be round, elliptical or square with rounded corners.

Thanks to its restrained design, the table integrates easily into any contemporary space. It can be used as a single side piece beside an armchair, or several models of different heights and top shapes can be combined into a single central group in front of a sofa.
