The Tau 40 Steel Move coffee table, by the designers Ludovica and Riccardo Lucatello, offers a dynamic way of using the space. The model has a double top with a built-in mechanism that rotates the upper level. This makes it easy to change the geometry of the piece, enlarging the usable area or creating new visual accents in the interior.
The cylindrical base is made of metal in finishes resembling bronze, brass, dark brass or titanium. The lower top is made of wood in the colour of the base. The upper swivelling level may be made of glass, tinted smoke mirror, or Marmoreflex or Legnoreflex. The tops are offered in round or square form.
This table is designed specifically for lounge areas and living rooms where functionality is valued. The swivel mechanism brings the upper top closer to a person seated on the sofa, which makes the model convenient for drinks, books or work on portable devices.
