The Tau 40 Steel Scacchi games table, designed by Riccardo Lucatello, combines the functions of a coffee table and a classic board game. The model stands on a massive cylindrical metal base, which gives excellent stability and lends the piece a monumental, architectural character.
The 40 mm top is made of wood stained to match the metal base. The main decorative element is an applied panel of patented Marmoreflex glass printed with a chessboard pattern. The metal base is available in bronze, brass, dark brass or titanium finishes.
This table will become the focal point of a seating area in a living room, home library or study. We recommend adding a pair of deep, comfortable armchairs and good directional lighting, creating a private space for intellectual leisure.
