The Josephine chandelier with 12 lights recalls the Empire style: a gilded brass frame holds a porcelain centre decorated with relief garlands and gold leaves, and each lamp is hidden inside a shade of satin silk. The height of the light is adjustable to suit a particular ceiling.
The brass is covered in 24-carat gold, and the central element is made of handmade porcelain at the Villari factory in Italy. The decoration is applied and painted by hand, which makes each chandelier slightly different from the others.
