Chests of drawers W048/Ch

A classic chest of drawers in lemon wood and myrtle burl, decorated with artistic inlay.

The W048/Ch chest by Zanaboni is an example of the high decorative and applied art of Italy. The model is made for bedroom areas and complements other pieces in the series. The proportions of the chest and the grace of its lines are aimed at creating a calm, balanced atmosphere in the interior.

The body is made of rare woods: lemon wood (citronnier) and myrtle burl. The surface is decorated with intricate hand inlay, made by experienced master cabinetmakers. The combination of contrasting wood textures creates a deep visual effect and underlines the standing of the furniture.

The chest is intended for the bedroom, where it is recommended for use with the W048/Nt bedside tables and the W048/Dr dressing table. It can also be an expressive accent piece in a living room or study done in a strict classical style.

Studio noteWe find it suits bedrooms where fine handwork in wood is valued. We recommend not crowding its top with decor, so that the texture of the myrtle burl remains visible.
