Storage B/3750
The classic B/3750 burl chest of drawers with hand-applied gold leaf decoration, for traditional drawing rooms and dining rooms.
The B/3750 chest is made in the traditional classical style and is a fine example of Italian decorative art. The fronts are decorated by the handwork of craftsmen from the Brianza region. Decorative reliefs in plaster and a gold leaf finish give the piece a monumental appearance, characteristic of palace interiors.
The basis of the chest is burl veneer with an expressive natural figure. All the decorative elements, including the plaster moulding and the gilding, are applied by hand by experienced craftsmen. This technique ensures the durability of the finish and preserves the aesthetic qualities of the furniture for many years.
The piece is designed for the formal areas of the house. It suits a spacious hall, a classical drawing room or a dining room. With its expressive gold decoration, the chest looks best against neutral wall finishes, which set off its intricate modelling.
