Armchairs Celine

A carver armchair with an enveloping back, decorated with hand carving in wood and relief plaster ornament.

The Celine armchair by Zanaboni is distinguished by a rounded silhouette and carefully worked hand decoration. The model is produced in several versions: Celine/W, with a wooden back decorated with hand painting and relief plaster ornament, and Celine, with a fully upholstered back. A swivel version, Celine/W-R, is also available. Decorative carved elements adorn not only the frame of the back and arms but also the legs of the chair.

Thanks to its finish all round, the armchair looks well from any angle. This allows it to be placed in the middle of a room and used as an art object in its own right. The detailed decoration underlines the connection of the model with the traditions of Italian furniture-making and makes it at home in classical drawing rooms.

Studio noteWe would place it in the bay window of a drawing room or in a spacious hall. It works very well as a stand-alone accent beside a light coffee table.
